In Pakistan, there has been an increase in political upheavals in the last few days. Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), a coalition of opposition parties designed to show Imran Khan a way out of Pakistan’s power, seems to be disintegrating. In fact, Asif Ali Zardari’s Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Nawaz Sharif’s Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have not agreed to resign in the assemblies. At the same time, Zardari has told Nawaz Sharif that if he is ready for war, then return to Pakistan.
The PDM’s long march has been postponed due to lack of consensus between the party of Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif (Nawaz Sharif). Sources have said that there was a very long conversation between Zardari and Nawaz Sharif. During this time, Zardari urged Sharif that if he is truly ‘ready for war’ then he should return to the country. According to sources, Zardari told Nawaz, if you are ready to fight the war, then you will have to return to your country. He said, those who are ready for war, they also have to be ready to go to jail.
Zardari’s party not in support of resignation
In fact, PDM President Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that there are differences in the alliance on the issue of resigning from the assemblies. Due to this, the long march against Imran has been postponed. Other parties involved in PDM, including Nawaz’s party and Fazlur Rahman’s party, had demanded their resignation from December itself. But Zardari’s party PPP has said that the opposition should look for changes in the house and should resign as the last option.
Imran will get strength due to their resignation
Zardari told Nawaz that Imran Khan will get stronger if he resigns from the assemblies. He said, if we have differences between people on any issue, the enemies of democracy will benefit from it. We do not have to fight with the mountains, but we have to fight within the Parliament itself. Sources told that Zardari told Nawaz that if you want to resign collectively, Mian Saheb, not only us, everyone will have to go to jail.
