Experts say that without getting the vaccine, people are not only putting themselves at risk but also posing a danger to others.

To avoid different variants of Coronavirus, experts are advising to get the vaccine. According to a report by CNN, an infectious disease expert has said that without getting a vaccine, people not only put their health at risk but they are a potential ‘factory’ of corona variants.
Countries are vaccinating their people more and more against the corona virus disease because the infection is spreading rapidly all over the world. Lack of vaccine availability in low- and low-middle-income countries is a major impediment to the growth of new virus variants and lethal mutations.
The virus will change as much as it spreads
William Schaffner, a professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, said that the greater the number of people not vaccinated, the greater the opportunity for the virus to grow, CNN reported. The World Health Organization said last month that the more we allow the virus to spread, the more chance the virus has to change.
Around 100 countries have already been hit by the Delta variant. The United Nations health agency has warned on Friday that the world is in a ‘very dangerous phase’ of this epidemic. Currently, the havoc of the Delta variant can be seen in the UK, where conditions have reached a bad phase after almost normalizing. However, Britain plans to lift all restrictions on 19 July.
rapidly deteriorating situation in Britain
Dr Chand Nagpaul, head of the council of the British Medical Association (BMA), a leading body of doctors, has warned that corona virus infection with the delta form of COVID-19 is increasing at an ‘alarming rate’. The organization believes that the rules of wearing masks in closed public places including public transport, shops and health centers and maintaining physical distance for people who gather in well ventilated places should remain in force even after 19 July.
He said that we have made excellent progress in the last 18 months through the vaccination campaign and individual care of the people across the country and the government should not let it go to waste at this critical juncture. Dr Nagpaul said it is not a binary decision of ‘all or nothing’.
