The PPP leader said that if his party had agreed with other PDM parties and boycotted the election, PTI would have won those seats and it would have been a sad day for Pakistan.

The Central Executive Committee of the PPP (Pakistan Peoples Party) has asked all members of the party to resign from their posts in the opposition coalition Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). Making the announcement at a press conference after the conclusion of the crucial CEC meeting on Monday, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that any party should impose its ‘will’ and ‘dictatorship’ on another party. Should not try.
He said that the CEC has rejected the show cause notice issued by other PDM parties to the PPP. At the same time, against the attitude, conduct and actions of other PDM officials, with immediate effect, all their officials in PDM have been asked to resign.
Resignation from Parliament became the reason for dispute
According to Bilawal, the CEC said that resignation from the assembly should be a final option. Let me tell you that resigning from Parliament is a serious reason for the dispute between PPP and other PDM parties. Bilawal said that this will be our stand. We feel that this stand has been proved right that we should not leave Parliament. He said that Pidiam exposed the government by participating in the recent by-elections.
‘Defeated the government on his pitch’
The PPP leader said that if his party had agreed with other PDM parties and boycotted the elections, PTI would have won those seats and it would have been a sad day for Pakistan. Bilawal insisted that we beat the government in the Senate and beat him on his pitch. He said that other PDM parties never addressed the PPP’s concerns about the ‘dangers’ of leaving Parliament.
PPP will remain strong opposition
He said that those who want to resign should do so but nobody should apply their willpower and dictatorship to any other political party. The PPP will continue its journey as a strong opposition. The PDM suffered a setback last week when the Awami National Party disassociated itself from this front.
