Dismissing the claim of having seen the drone, Pakistan said that such allegations are being made by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and a section of the media.
Drone becomes new weapon of terror
After the terrorist attack by a drone in Jammu, news came on Friday that a drone was sighted over the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. India has taken this matter seriously and has raised a strong objection to the Government of Pakistan. Now the Pakistan Foreign Ministry has given clarification on this. On Sunday, there was a drone attack on the Jammu Airbase. The airbase was damaged in a drone blast.
A Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesperson said, “The Indian Foreign Ministry and a certain section of the Indian media are alleging that a drone was flying over the premises of the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. These claims are baseless and there is no truth in them. The Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesperson tweeted, “This propaganda campaign is being carried out by India at a time when the evidence gathered so far in the Lahore blasts of 23 June is pointing to external forces whose history is state-sponsored against Pakistan.” is to be accomplished.

Indian strategy rejected
In the tweet, he wrote, ‘Pakistan openly rejects these false allegations and diversionary Indian tactics and will stand with the people of #IIOJK in their just struggle for the right to self-determination, as enshrined in UNSC resolutions. ‘ The day after the attack on the airbase, the terrorists also tried to attack the military station with a drone. Drones were sighted at Jammu’s Kaluchak station at 3 am.
On Sunday late night, terrorists attacked the Jammu airbase with a drone. There were two explosions at the Air Force station, in which the roof was damaged. The first blast happened late at 1.37 pm. There was a second explosion within five minutes of this. Two soldiers also received minor injuries. This was the first time that terrorists sitting across the border have used drones to attack.
Drones used in attack for the first time
Earlier, the use of drones was not seen in terrorist attacks. The investigation of the case has been handed over to the NIA. It does not even cost much to attack through drones. Also, the risk of carrying out such an attack is low. Drones can fly very low, so that they are not even caught by the radar.
