Maulana converting Hindus
Once again in Pakistan, the government of Imran Khan has been exposed to protect the rights of minorities. Actually, at least 60 Hindus have been forcibly converted to Islam in the Malti region of Sindh province of Pakistan. Hindus were asked to recite ‘Kalma’ in the presence of the municipal president. The Hindu community in Pakistan is a minority (Hindu in Pakistan) and their number is 45 lakhs in the country’s population of 220 million.
Hindus account for two percent of the total population of Pakistan. Most Hindus live in Sindh province, where such incidents have increased in recent times. Municipal president Abdul Rauf Nizamani reportedly helped in the mass conversion process. In a Facebook post, Nizamani said, ‘Alhamdulillah today 60 people have become Muslims under my supervision. Pray for them. In a video shared by Nizamani on Facebook, it can be seen that the Islamic cleric is getting a group of Hindus to read the Kalma. Also ensuring their conversion.
Maulvi said this to the people
In another video, the cleric is seen claiming that this was his first prayer recitation. The cleric told the new converts, the sole purpose of a Muslim man’s life is to please Allah. Only then will the purpose of his life be fulfilled. The life of only those who have been approved by Allah will go ahead. This is not the first case of conversion in Sindh province of Pakistan. Such incidents have come to the fore before as well. Pakistan has also been criticized for this.
The case of 13-year-old Hindu girl’s conversion also came to the fore in Sindh.
Earlier, in March, a 13-year-old Hindu girl, Kavita Odd, was kidnapped from Sindh’s Kandhakot area and then forcibly converted to Islam. The minor was seen sitting on the ground with the crowd around him. During this, a cleric named Miyan Mithu of Bharchundi Masjid was seen allegedly organizing a conversion ceremony. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) vice-president Sukhdev Hemnani said he was investigating the matter with local authorities. He tweeted and said, “Documents prove that the girl is only 13 years old and she is getting the help of lawyers to file a case in the court.”
