Protection of Parents Ordinance 2021 Pakistan: In Pakistan, a man had beaten up his parents and evicted them from the house, after which he has been sentenced. Amjad Shoaib Khan Tareen, Deputy Commissioner from Muzaffarabad, on Thursday sentenced a person to the first sentence under the Protection of Parents Ordinance 2021. Under the punishment, the accused son has been jailed for one month and fined Rs 50,000. This action was taken against him after his parents lodged a complaint.
The elderly couple said in their complaint that their son had beaten them up last year and threw them out of the house. In the case, Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) Ehsan-ul-Haq said on Thursday that the Deputy Commissioner has also ordered the SHO of Civil Lines to vacate the house from the accused and hand over the house to his parents. of Parents Ordinance 2021 Pakistan). The victim couple Ghulam Fatima and her deaf and mute husband Mohammad Iqbal say that their son Mukhtar Hussain used to misbehave with them and even beat them several times.
Elders used to work at people’s homes
Fatima says, ‘A year ago, Mukhtar forced us to leave the house and since then we have been working at people’s homes to make a living.’ After receiving the complaint, the Deputy Commissioner called both the parties to the office and tried to find a solution. Then Mukhtar Hussain apologized and agreed to take the parents home (Protection of Parents Ordinance 2021 in Pakistan). But the victim couple refused to leave. After which the decision was taken according to the law.
Expressing happiness over the decision
This decision is being praised a lot in the country. Sardar Abtul Hayee Khan Dasti, leader of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, also praised the deputy commissioner and his party for taking such a decision. Dasti said, ‘Through this law, the PTI government has provided a credible security cover to the elderly parents.’
