In the financial year 2020-21, their total number has increased to 56 lakh. While the number of horses and mules remains the same. This information has come out in the Economic Survey of Pakistan 2020-21 (Economic Survey). According to the survey, the number of other animals used in farming like buffalo, horse, donkey, goat, sheep and camel has also increased significantly.
Now the total number of animals in this country has increased to 2.131 crore, which was 2.07 crore in the year 2019-20. The number of cattle here has increased to 19 lakh as compared to 2019-20 (Pakistan Donkey Population). According to the data revealed in the survey, the number of donkeys in Pakistan has now increased from 55 lakh to 5.6 million, the number of buffalo has increased from 41 million to 4.24 crore and the number of goats has increased from 7.82 crore to 8.03 crore.
Donkeys will be exported to China
Similarly, the number of sheep has increased from 3.12 crores to 3.16 crores. Whereas the number of horses and mules has not increased at all. To deal with the increasing number of donkeys, Pakistan will export them to China. China buys them at a high price. It is said that traditional medicine is made in China using donkeys (Donkey Gelatin China). Gelatin is made in China from the skin of this organism. It is believed that it has medicinal properties. In China, it is also used to strengthen the immune system.
China has the most donkeys
Donkeys are in high demand for making medicine in China. At the same time, Pakistan is the third country in the world, where there are most donkeys. The owner of a donkey earns up to Rs 1000 a day, which is a substantial amount for a poor family.
