There has been a big disclosure in the case of alleged Forcibly Converted in Pakistan. The Hindu girl said in her statement in the court that she changed her religion without any pressure. At the same time, the girl’s father alleged that some people have forcibly converted her religion.
While hearing the case, a court in Sindh, Pakistan has sent a Hindu girl to a child protection center. The statement of the girl was recorded in the court on Wednesday. He was produced from the shelter home with police protection in the court of Civil Judge Munawar Pirzada of Tangwani, Tehsil of Kandhkot, North Sindh.
Why is there a demand for the formation of a medical board?
In the statement, the girl said that after reaching the Bharchandi Dargah, she changed her religion without any pressure, after which her name has now been changed to Umm Hina. Advocate for the girl’s parents, Abdul Gani Bijrani, said in court that the girl is still a minor. Seeking the court, he said that a medical board should be set up so that it can be ascertained whether he was raped.
Please tell that the age of nikah in Sindh is at least 18 years. A lawsuit can be filed for marrying at a young age or for co-operation in marriage. Advocate Abdul Ghani alleged that under the Sindh Child Marriage Restaurant Act, marriage certificate is not being presented, so a medical board should be constituted and the matter investigated.
The case should be transferred to the anti-terrorism court
The lawyer said in a written request to the court that the matter should be transferred to the Anti-Terrorism Court. He said that the kidnapping of a girl under 18 years of age comes under Section 364 of the ATA and hence it should be heard in the Anti-Terrorism Court. He asked the court to send the girl to a parent or child shelter home as she could not live with non-Maharam people, after which the court issued an order to send her to Sukkur shelter home.
At the same time, Saeed Ahmed Bijrani, advocate of Pir of Bharchandi, while talking to the media said that the girl was met in private with her parents and recorded her statement. He said that the girl is demanding to go to Bharchandi Pir to continue her Islamic education. He had demanded from the court that he should be sent to the Dargah Bharchandi.
