One of the UK’s most-wanted fugitives has been arrested whereas using an e-bike in Spain.
Dean Garforth, 29, was needed on allegations he was a medicine and firearms provider.
He was using an e-bike in Nueva Andalucia, Marbella, when he was arrested on Monday, the National Crime Agency (NCA) mentioned.
When he realised plain-clothed officers had been closing in, the needed man rode the bike into an officer and resisted arrest, the company mentioned.
It got here after the NCA and Crimestoppers launched a public enchantment in January for 12 of the UK’s most needed fugitives who had been believed to be hiding in Spain.
Garforth was needed for alleged involvement in an organised crime group (OCG) supplying cocaine and hashish in addition to being concerned in buying and selling firearms and ammunition.

Steve Reynolds, NCA regional supervisor in Spain, mentioned: “Dean Garforth’s arrest was made possible after some great work by the Spanish National Police, supported by the NCA’s international liaison officers and Cheshire Police.
“Garforth is the sixth fugitive to be arrested from the Most Wanted record. We will not cease till the rest are caught.”
Detective Chief Inspector Ian Murray, from Cheshire Constabulary, said: “This newest arrest exhibits how by working collectively, there are not any borders and no secure locations to cover.
“We will continue to work together to keep bringing those suspected of committing serious and organised crime before the courts.”
