Other countries on the list are Britain, Tunisia, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Ethiopia, Sudan, Tanzania, South Africa, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Guyana, Colombia, Argentina and Brazil. . Restrictions on arrival from some of these countries have been in force since April 24. On Wednesday, 1,675 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Oman, after which the total cases of infection in the country increased to 2,80,235. So far 3,356 people have died due to coronavirus infection in the country.
UAE continues travel ban on India
At the same time, on June 27, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced that it would continue the travel ban imposed on 14 countries including India. The country’s aviation authority said, business and charter flights will be exempted from this ban. UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority said that flights from India, Pakistan, Liberia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and South Africa will be suspended due to coronavirus. . The UAE had imposed a flight ban on 24 April itself during the second wave in India.
Indians will get entry in these three countries from next week
However, in view of the decreasing corona cases in India, some countries have started removing the travel ban on India. Canada, Germany and Maldives are three such countries which have recently opened their doors to Indians. From next week, Indians will be allowed to enter Canada on connecting flights as direct flights are banned till July 21. Indian travelers will have to show a Covid negative report before leaving for Canada. At the same time, Germany has also allowed people to come from countries with Delta variants, while Maldives is opening its doors to the people from July 15.
