Russia on Sunday expelled 20 Czech Republic diplomats (10 Diplomates) from the country. The move has been taken by the Kremlin when the Czech Republic on Saturday ordered 18 Russian diplomates to leave the country within 72 hours. It is believed that Russia has taken this step in retaliation. A few days ago there was a dispute between Russia and America about the removal of diplomats.
The Czech Republic reported on Saturday that it has asked Russian diplomats to leave the country, because in 2018, two Russian spies poisoned a nerve agent in Britain, killing the Russian agent. The same spies were also behind the blast in the Czech Republic’s ammunition depot four years before the incident. The Czech Republic said it had informed NATO and European Union partners that it was suspected of being Russia’s hand in the 2014 depot explosion. The Foreign Minister of the European Union will also discuss this in a meeting to be held on Monday.
Tension between Western countries and Russia increased
America has praised the Czech Republic for giving a strong reply to Russia. This is the first time since 1989 after decades of Soviet domination in Eastern Europe, when tensions between Prague and Moscow have increased so much. In fact, this incident has increased the tension between Western countries and Russia. Russia has increased the number of troops and weapons along the western border with Ukraine. Tension is already there. At the same time, the withdrawal of NATO-backed Prague diplomats by Russia can add fuel to the fire.
Russia’s double agent Skripal’s assassins blasted at the depot!
The Czech police said that two Russian citizens were involved in the 2014 blasts at the arms depot. Two people died in this explosion. The passport that was held with these two Russian citizens, the same passport reached Britain, the killers of former Russian agent Sergei Skripal. Let us know that Russia’s double agent Skripal was murdered in Britain in 2018. At the same time, Russia has described Prague’s allegations as absurd. It said that the Czech Republic had earlier considered the owners of the depot responsible for the blast at Verbatis, located 300 km east of the capital Prague.
