    Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has prevented a conviction after pleading responsible to assaulting an ex-girlfriend.

    Kyrgios admitted pushing Chiara Passari to the bottom throughout a row in Canberra in January 2021.

    His lawyer informed a courtroom within the Australian capital that it was an act of “stupidity” and “frustration”, whereas a psychologist mentioned he had suffered extreme melancholy, suicidal ideas and insomnia previously.
