People troubled by the government have been demanding removal of democracy from Nepal for the last several months. People demand that Nepal be made a Hindu nation again and that power should be handed over to the king in the same way as before.
People in Nepal, which had been the only Hindu nation in the world for decades, are now demanding to bring democracy back to the state, it can be quite surprising to see that the people of a country are demanding to bring democracy to the end of democracy. Doing. However, something similar has been happening in our neighboring country Nepal for the last few months and the biggest reason for this is a failed government which poured water on people by showing them big dreams.
Actually Nepal has always been a monarchical country, there was a monarchy for the last 240 years, after this, the Maoists fought a lot and in May 2008 the monarchy came to an end from Nepal. But now the people there have started demanding monarchy again in Nepal. In fact, the people there are upset with the rule of Nepal Communist Party, the ruling party of Nepal and they feel that there was a better monarchy than this government.
Why the demand for a monarchy
We have always heard that people demand democracy by removing the monarchy, but in Nepal it is reversing. People there believe that they were more happy with democracy in the monarchy. At the same time, people are unhappy with the work of the ruling party Nepal Communist Party, as well as many serious allegations of corruption on the government. Apart from this, due to opposition to democracy, political upheaval is also being considered, because in the last 12 years, the people of Nepal have seen many Prime Ministers. Some organizations have alleged that in Loktantra, the parties are paying more attention to foreigners than to the national interest.
What is the demand of the people
There has not been much time for democracy in Nepal. Actually, Nepal was the Kingdom of Nepal till the year 2008 and now when democracy has come here, within a period of 12 years, a section of the country is getting disturbed by it and now there is a demand to remove this democracy. People demand that Nepal be made a Hindu nation again and that power should be handed over to the king in the same way as before.
Nepal’s Communist Party’s two factions fight
In fact, there are currently two factions in the Nepal Communist Party between which disputes are often seen, one is that of the caretaker Prime Minister KP Oli and the other is Pushp Kamal Dahal Prachanda. Recently, the Prachanda faction removed Oli from the post of leader of the parliamentary party and made Prachanda sit. Now both groups are accusing each other that they are trying to take over the party.
The command of ‘Communist Party of Nepal’ is in the hands of Rishi Kattel
Prime Minister Oli, who has an inclination towards China, dissolved the lower house of parliament on December 20 last year amid raging power with Prachanda. However, the ruling party Oli was divided over this decision. On the other hand, the Nepal Supreme Court on Sunday gave the command of the ‘Nepal Communist Party’ to Rishi Kattel while giving the verdict in a three-year-old case.
Justices Kumar Regmi and Bom Kumar Shrestha ruled on the three-year-old case on Sunday. Kattel challenged the Election Commission’s decision to register Nepal Communist Party of KP Sharma Oli and Pushp Kamal Dahal in May 2018. The bench has said that the new party cannot be registered with the Election Commission when a party of the same name is already registered with the Commission.
