NASA’s Perseverance Rover is looking for life on Mars. But in the meantime, a top scientist has suggested that the American Space Agency itself may have sown the ‘seeds’ of life on Mars. Cornell University scientist Christopher Mason revealed that NASA may have accidentally transported life to Mars. Now people are shocked by this theory. However, even after all this, everyone’s eyes are on persistence, which is searching for life.
Christopher Mason claimed that during the Mars mission, NASA may have delivered the microbes found on Earth to the red planet by themselves. These creatures must have survived the dangerous journey to Mars and now they have made the Red Planet their home. According to Mason, any evidence of life during NASA’s missions to the Red Planet may have been made by the US Space Agency itself. However, he also made it clear that NASA cleans the on-site in a particular room to avoid such potential conditions, so that the microbes are destroyed.
Perhaps microbial life is flourishing on Mars
Even though NASA leaves no stone unturned to eliminate microbes. But there are some microbes, which can survive in many places even after maximum cleaning. Mason wrote in his column written in the BBC that the microbes survive even after rigorous cleaning. They have so much potential that they can complete the journey to Mars. This means that microbial life may be flourishing on the red planet. Even before Mason, many scientists had hoped to flourish on Mars in this way.
Will NASA be able to find life on Mars?
A few years ago, Chief NASA scientist Jim Green predicted that the US Space Agency would find evidence of alien life on Mars in 2021. The scientist also clarified that humans are not yet ready to accept the realities surrounding alien existence. Green said, if this happens, it is going to be quite revolutionary. This will start a whole new line of thinking. I do not think we are ready for the results. I worry about it because I think we are close to finding it and making some announcements. But human civilization is not ready for this yet.
