Moon: Once again countries around the world are trying to gather more information about the Moon. Meanwhile, such a device is being prepared, with the help of which information about water on the moon will be available.
Moon Exploration Mission (Moon Exploration Mission) – symbolic picture
Exploration of Moon: Space agencies around the world are preparing to return to the moon. This time the intention is to stay on the moon for a long time. During this, the biggest discovery is going to be to find out the presence of water on the surface of the moon. To detect the presence of water on Earth’s natural satellite, a team of scientists is preparing an instrument that will be able to detect the water molecules present on the surface of the Moon.
The team from The Open University (OU) and RAL Space has designed the Exospheric Mass Spectrometer (EMS). It is called the ‘Heart of a lunar sensor’, which will study the abundance of water and ice for upcoming missions to the Moon. This spectrometer is part of the PITMS instrument, which will be delivered to the US space agency NASA. It will be launched on the moon by the end of this year.
Man will reach the moon for the first time after Apollo mission
This instrument will reach the Moon as part of the ambitious Artemis mission by NASA. In this way the first female and male astronauts will return to the lunar surface decades after the Apollo mission. The Open University said in a statement, this instrument will investigate the emerging concept of the Moon. Apart from this, water and other molecules present in the Moon’s atmosphere will also be detected.
Once again the depth of the moon will be probed
After the Apollo mission, the Moon Exploration Programs were forgotten in a way for study. But now once again many countries are starting missions on it. These include the names of America, China, Russia and India. Efforts have begun to deepen the understanding on the surface of the Moon. It is believed that the materials found on the surface of the Moon can give important information about the resources.
