The Ukrainian first girl has instructed Pink Floyd co-creator Roger Waters to again off from criticising her husband over the Russian invasion – and instructed him bluntly to “ask Putin for peace” as an alternative.
Waters wrote an open letter to Olena Zelenska wherein he blamed “extreme nationalists” in Ukraine for having “set your country on the path to this disastrous war”.

He told her: “Your previous man agreed to totalitarian, anti-democratic dismissals of the desire of the Ukrainian folks, and the forces of utmost nationalism that had lurked, malevolent, within the shadows, have, since then, dominated the Ukraine.”
He also criticised the West for supplying Ukraine with weapons, blaming Washington, in particular.
“Throwing gas, within the type of armaments, into a hearth combat, has by no means labored to shorten a warfare previously, and it will not work now, notably as a result of, on this case, many of the gas is (a) being thrown into the fireplace from Washington DC, which is at a comparatively protected distance from the conflagration, and (b) as a result of the ‘gas throwers’ have already declared an curiosity within the warfare occurring for so long as potential.
