North Korean leader Kim Jong Un
The tension between North Korea and America (US-North Korea) is not taking its name. The country’s ‘dictator’ Kim Jong Un has asked his government to be ready for both dialogue and confrontation with the Joe Biden administration in America. Government media gave this news on Friday. Just a few days ago, America and other countries had insisted on abandoning their nuclear program with North Korea and adopting the path of dialogue again.
Some experts said Kim’s statement showed that he wanted to increase his nuclear arsenal strongly. Through this, he wants to pressure America to abandon its policies, which North Korea describes as a hostile policy. However, Kim is also ready to resume talks. In the ongoing ruling party meeting in the country, on Thursday, Kim analyzed the US policies in detail under the leadership of Joe Biden. Kim stressed the need to be prepared for both dialogue and confrontation during this time. In particular, to protect the prestige of the country and in the interests of development independently and to ensure the security and peaceful environment of the country, be prepared for conflict situations.
There is no talk about nuclear weapons yet
In 2018-19, Kim Jong Un held several summits with the then US President Donald Trump. There was a discussion between the two leaders regarding the stockpile of nuclear weapons. But talks about nuclear weapons between North Korea and America did not succeed. Trump asked Kim to give up his passion for nuclear weapons in exchange for lifting US sanctions, but the North Korean leader refused to do so. At the same time, the Biden administration has worked to prepare a new perspective on North Korea’s nuclear program.
If Washington doesn’t change policy, hi-tech missiles will continue to be ready: Kim
Earlier this week, leaders of the G-7 group issued a statement calling for a complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and North Korea to abandon its nuclear and missile programs. He called on North Korea to join the talks and resume talks. Kim Jong Un said that if Washington does not change its hostile policies, then his country will increase its nuclear arsenal and prepare high-tech missiles to target America. In March, North Korea tested medium-range ballistic missiles. But now North Korea is busy making long-range missiles.
