Biden pressures Netanyahu to ease tensions with Palestine

The White House said that there was a detailed discussion between the two leaders on the developments in Gaza, the progress made by Israel towards reducing the capabilities of Hamas and other terrorist elements, and the diplomatic efforts by regional governments and the US. The White House said, the President told the Prime Minister that he expected a significant reduction in tension on the path of ceasefire today. This is the fourth time talks have been held between President Biden and Prime Minister Netanyahu in the last one week.
Netanyahu vows to continue campaign against Gaza
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday pledged to continue a military operation on the Gaza Strip, despite the fierce fighting that has been going on between Israel and Palestine for the past 10 days. This statement by Netanyahu can complicate international efforts to reach a ceasefire. Israel continued air strikes on Gaza on Wednesday, while Palestinian militants also fired rockets at Israel throughout the day. Meanwhile, rockets were fired from Lebanon into northern Israel. After a visit to the military headquarters, Netanyahu said that he greatly appreciates the cooperation of the US President. But he said that the country will continue the campaign to bring peace and security back to the people of Israel. He said that he is committed to continue it till the purpose of the campaign is fulfilled.
