80 Airstrikes on Gaza City on Monday
On Monday morning, Israeli warplanes carried out 80 airstrikes over several areas of Gaza City. The attack was carried out shortly after Hamas extremists fired rockets at southern Israel. The United Nations has warned that there may be a shortage of fuel due to the attacks on Gaza. Due to this, the power of hospitals and other facilities may be lost. United Nations Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Lynn Hasting said Israeli authorities sought permission to supply fuel and other essentials in Gaza, but were denied citing security.
188 people died in Gaza so far
Gaza officials said that 42 people, including 16 women and 10 children, were killed in the Israeli air strike on Sunday. At the same time, Israel says that 10 people, including two children, have died in rocket attacks on the country since the conflict started last Monday. On the other hand, Hamas-controlled Gaza’s health ministry said, 188 people have died in Gaza so far. The dead included 55 children and 33 women. In addition, 1230 people have been injured in the Israeli attack.
