Japan has extended a hand to help India fighting the war with Coronavirus in India. Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary Katsunobu Kato said on Friday that Japan is ready to provide 300 Respirators and 300 Oxygen concentrators to India. However, Kato did not clarify when these aspirators and contractors would reach India. But he definitely hoped that once the negotiations with India are completed, they will be delivered fast.
In India, the situation has become uncontrollable due to coronavirus and there is a lot of scarcity of oxygen and beds in hospitals. In recent times, there has been a tremendous increase in the cases of corona. Nearly three lakh cases are being reported every day since last one week. The situation has become so bad that notices of ‘no more beds’ have to be put outside the hospitals. The health system has gone badly and so far there are dozens of patients, who have died only due to lack of oxygen. In this hour of crisis, India is being helped from all over the world.
‘Seva International’ sent more than two thousand oxygen concentrators
The US-based Houston-based Indian-American non-profit NGO ‘Seva International’ has helped India fight Corona. This organization has sent the first batch of 2,184 oxygen concentrators from Atlanta to India. ‘Seva International’ said that the oxygen concentrator left for New Delhi from Atlanta on Thursday. It told that the United Parcel Service (UPS) Foundation is delivering this goods without any amount. John Chambers, a top US businessman and former CEO of Cisco, has announced a donation of one million dollars (about Rs 7.5 crore) for the goal of sending one lakh oxygen units to India. John Chambers is the president of the US India Strategic and Partnership Forum (USISPF), an India-focused business advisory group in the US.
Corona records cases in last 24 hours
At the same time, according to the figures of the Union Health Ministry, a record 3,86,452 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. In this way, the number of infected has increased to 1,87,62,976. At the same time, 3,498 people have died due to infection during this period. With this, the number of dead has increased to 2,08,330. In the last 24 hours, 2,97,540 people were cured of the infection. In this way, the number of recovered patients has increased to 1,53,84,418.
