Tension continues between India and China (India-China Relations) on the border in Eastern Ladakh. However, China says that the border situation between the two countries is stable and both sides are finding a way to negotiate to resolve this dispute (India-China Border Tensions). Beijing says that the words of the Indian government should be beneficial to improve the situation on the border. But these statements of China also seem contradictory because China is increasing the deployment of soldiers and weapons on the border.
China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin was quoted in China’s mouthpiece Global Times as saying, ‘The situation on the China-India border remains stable and both sides are engaged in talks. Has happened. The words and actions of the officers or military officers of the Government of India and Indian military deployment should be beneficial for easing the border situation and not vice versa.’ Although China is definitely saying that the situation on the border is stable, but it has not mentioned the deployment on its side.
