Imran Khan has asked young filmmakers of Pakistan to stop copying Bollywood and create their own original content.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan always keeps giving strange statements. Sometimes Imran cites women’s clothes as the reason for rape (Imran Khan on Misdeed) and sometimes he blames films for obscenity (Imran Khan on Films). Once again Imran has done the same thing. Describing Hindi films as obscene, Imran Khan has urged the country’s filmmakers to focus on creating new and original content instead of copying Bollywood.
Speaking at a short film festival in Islamabad, Imran said that mistakes were made initially because the Pakistani film industry was influenced by Bollywood. The result was a culture that continued the practice of copying and adopting the culture of another nation. Emraan said, “So the most important thing I want to say to young filmmakers is that according to my experience in the world, only original content sells. Copied content has no value.
Emraan advised young filmmakers to bring original content
According to the Dawn newspaper, referring to the influence of Hollywood and Bollywood in the popular culture of Pakistan, Imran Khan said that people in the country allegedly do not watch local content until it changes commercially. Ho. So my advice to young filmmakers is to come up with your own ideas and don’t be afraid of failure. Pakistani PM said that it is the experience of my life that one who is afraid of defeat can never win.
Pakistan is busy in improving its image
This statement of Imran Khan has come at a time when Pakistan is trying to change its perception in the world. Talking about Pakistan’s image globally, Imran said, Pakistan has been misrepresented as a soft country. The reason behind this is its defensive attitude towards the so-called war on terror. Imran Khan said that the world respects only those people who respect themselves. He further said that Pakistaniism should be promoted.
