Pakistan Prime Minister Imran went on a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia and has returned with 19 thousand sacks of rice from there. Due to which political rhetoric has started in Pakistan. The opposition says that the government of Imran Khan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (Tehreek E Insaf) has only been able to get rice sacks from this visit.

It was described by the Pakistani government as a ‘very successful tour’. After Imran Khan’s visit to Saudi Arabia, the agency that provided aid there, announced that 19,032 sacks of rice will be given to Pakistan. This donation is being linked to Imran’s tour (Imran Khan in Saudi Arabia). According to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, the country’s political parties and the general public are listening to Imran Khan on social media.

These people are upset with why Imran Khan has brought donations from Saudi. Leader of the opposition party and President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has criticized the government, saying that Imran Khan as Fitra and Zakat in addition to 19 thousand sacks of rice from Saudi Arabia Nothing else has been achieved.

He said, ‘More than the total cost of rice sacks, more money has been spent on this visit of Imran Khan (Rice Bags from Saudi Arabia). He took dozens of his friends and ministers to Saudi. Bilawal further said, ‘Imran Khan became the Prime Minister after 22 years of struggle only so that he could bring rice sacks to the nuclear-rich country.’

At the same time, defending the government of Pakistan, Imran Khan’s special assistant Tahir Ashrafi said that these donations are not new because the poor of Pakistan have been receiving such help even before this. He also said that this year, this help will be decided at least a month ago.

Significantly, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan had a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah last week. Here they had discussions on international issues including bilateral. There was also a discussion between the two on the violence spread in the Middle East including in Jammu and Kashmir of India.
