The centuries-old religious ceremony Yadnya Kasada was held in Indonesia on Saturday. The people of the Hindu tribal Tengar tribe living in Indonesia participated in this festival. During this time, these tribal people put grains, vegetables, animals and other food items in the crater of Mount Bromo volcano located in Probolinggo, East Java. About one lakh Tengar tribesmen live in 35 villages around Mount Bromo. The inhabitants of the Tengar tribe claim to be descendants of the Majapahit princes. The Majapahit Empire was the last Indian dynasty to rule in Indonesia.
