Paediatricians in America have claimed the birth of a unique baby girl whose body has antibodies to the Nobel Coronavirus (Coronavirus Antibodies). This is the first case of this kind. The first mother vaccine (Covid-19 Vaccine) was applied to the child’s mother during pregnancy. According to a study posted on ‘MedRxiv’, which published an ePrint related to health science, the child’s mother was given Moderna Vaccine in the 36th week of pregnancy.
Three weeks later, the woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Her blood samples were taken immediately after birth, which revealed that the baby’s blood had antibodies. However, this study has not been reviewed yet. Co-authors Paul Gilbert and Chad Rudnick of Atlantic University in Florida, USA, said this was the first known case of antibodies found in a newborn.
Antibodies will help the child to fight the corona
The mother is breastfeeding her baby continuously and according to the prescribed rule, the second dose of the vaccine is given after 28 days. At the same time, earlier studies had told that antibodies reached the fetus through the mother, recovered from the corona. Doctors have said that due to the vaccine given to the mother, antibodies are present in the baby’s body, which will help protect her from corona. However, Gilbert and Rudnick said that more studies needed to be done to confirm the case in reality.
Vaccination continues worldwide
Significantly, more than 26 lakh people have died due to coronavirus worldwide. While more than 120 million people have been infected with this virus. On the other hand, the vaccination campaign is going on in countries around the world to fight the coronavirus. A rapid vaccination campaign is also going on in India. So far, 3.49 crore people have been vaccinated in India.
