Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Meeting with S. ‘No decision yet’
In response to a media query about India and Pakistan attempting to restore full-fledged diplomatic relations behind the scenes, Qureshi said, “No decision has been taken yet.” Jaishankar also did not directly answer questions asked last week about meeting Qureshi at the conference (Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Meeting With S. What did Jaishankar say?
He said at the ‘India Economic Conclave’ held in New Delhi on 26 March, ‘My program is being made. I do not think that any such meeting has been planned so far. India’s Ministry of External Affairs had said on Friday that Jaishankar can interact with leaders of other countries while attending the conference. This Conference of Ministers is a part of the ‘Istanbul Process’ which is an initiative on cooperation and security for peace and stability in Afghanistan and it was started on 2 November 2011 in Turkey.
