Two folks have suffered respiratory difficulties after a chemical leak at a swimming pool part-owned by former Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington.
Firefighters had been referred to as on Saturday morning to Swim! in Oldbury after a chemical leak occurred within the plant room of the pool.
Ten folks had been evacuated from the constructing, together with two who suffered respiratory difficulties, based on the Press Association.
Two-time gold medal swimmer Adlington, 34, opened the ability in February alongside Olympians Steve Parry and Adrian Turner, and JD Gyms.
West Midlands hearth service stated: “The leak was contained to the constructing and posed no danger to the general public.
“Two fire engines and our hazardous materials team responded, together with colleagues from the ambulance service.
“The first crew had been on the scene inside three minutes of being mobilised.
“Our teams are ventilating the building and our specialist officers are using air monitoring equipment to make sure the area is safe.”

It later added: “Firefighters in breathing apparatus have used equipment from our hazardous materials unit to bring the incident to a successful conclusion.”
A Swim! spokesman stated nobody was damage.
Ms Adlington, a two-time winner on the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, referred to as time on her profession months after she had gained two bronze medals at her house Olympics in London 4 years later.
