Russia has put all Europeans “one step away” from a radiation catastrophe at Ukraine’s largest nuclear energy plant, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated in a dire warning.
The Ukrainian chief stated the world narrowly averted a disaster on the Zaporizhzhia facility, which is being reportedly getting used as a base by Kremlin troops.
He blamed shelling by Russian forces for fires in a close-by coal energy station that disconnected the reactor complicated on the nuclear plant from the facility grid.
