A small-looking gun can kill anyone, and often a bullet caused by it can cause mass destruction. But have you ever thought that what happens to your mind or your body when you fire or sometimes shoot. You look at the gun carefully before shooting, aiming and then triggering the bridge, these are all functions of your brain that directly affect your body as well.
This is why training is important
Whenever you fire, many sensations float in your body simultaneously. From shivering in the body to loud ears and the smell of gunpowder, your brain dominates for many hours. According to Pew Research, more than 72 percent of America’s youth have fired guns, meaning that a large population of America has gone through its mental and emotional experiences. According to Norwich University neuroscientist Kevin Fleming, it is very important to train people for gun firing.
Different response at different times
The purpose of this training is to tell people about many types of sensations. Kevin has done research on gun noise. At the same time, he has tried to understand the psychology of such people over the age of 25 who wield weapons. They say that the important purpose of training a police officer or a soldier is to tell them about the mental and physical changes after firing a gun. He told that although everyone’s experience is very different, especially when it comes to a firing range and actually the threat to life.
Multiple hormones active at the same time
In both situations, no one responds differently. Shooting a gun can be a very shocking experience. Anyone driving a gun for the first time, their body automatically starts reacting in a situation which is considered equal to the risk of death. The brain rapidly releases cortisol, adrenaline which is used as epinephiran and other hormones such as serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine.
Because of this, shooters like filling, fear, anxiety and aggression start. According to Kevin, when shooters pull the trigger, they feel that if they use the weapon then it will be helpful for them. Because of this, some dummy target is also seen as an enemy to some people. Pulling the trigger comes under aggression.
Do you know that you can have diarrhea due to gunfire, know how the brain functions
Oxygen and sugar flow faster
Only by looking at the gun can anyone get offensive thoughts. According to a recent study, sometimes shooters find it difficult to manage the body’s response after firing several thousand rounds. According to Kevin, training is designed in such a way that the shooter can easily handle all kinds of emotional experiences. Heart rate increases after firing a gun, the palm begins to sweat, blood pressure rises rapidly and as a result, oxygen and sugar supply in the arteries begins to increase rapidly.
May cause Diarrhoea
Blood circulation also affects the function of the brain. Focus increases and in this way the ability to recognize patterns also increases. Even if you have eaten heavy food before firing, then you can even fall ill. Kevin has told that diarrhea has been seen in some people. There are problems even in urination. According to Kevin, after a few seconds, the brain releases the information that the gun is gone and firing has taken place. Once the danger is averted, the nervous system releases all kinds of chemicals that help in bringing the body back to normal.
