So far, more than three crore people have been infected in the country and more than four lakh people have lost their lives. At present, there are 485,350 active cases of COVID-19 in the country and 2.96 crore people have been cured. The recovery rate in the country has increased to 96.97 percent. The weekly positivity rate remains below 5 percent. So far in India, more than 35 crore doses have been given to the people in the country. The first case of the Delta Plus variant in India came to light on June 11 and 50 cases have been reported so far.
(2.) Turkey: Turkey is the second most affected country in Asia after India. So far, more than 54 lakh cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country and 49,829 people have died. At present there are 80,146 active cases of COVID and 53 lakh people have been cured of COVID-19. So far, 51 million people have been given vaccine doses in Turkey. Turkey recently banned incoming flights from Bangladesh, Brazil, South Africa, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka in view of the danger of the Delta variant.

At a meeting of Iran’s Anti-Virus Task Force, President Hassan Rouhani said, there is a possibility that we may face a fifth wave across the country. Indonesia is the fourth country in the continent of Asia, where most corona cases have been reported. So far more than 22 lakh people have been infected in Indonesia and 60,027 people have died. In this way it is included in the countries badly affected by the virus. So far, only five percent of the country’s population has received two doses of the vaccine.
(5.) Philippines: The Philippines government has said that so far no case of Delta variant has been reported in the country. So far 1.4 million people have been infected in the Philippines and 24,973 people have died. There are more than 55,000 active cases in the country and 1.3 million have been cured of the virus. So far, more than one crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given to people in the country. The government has extended the travel ban till July 15 for all people coming from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
(6.) Iraq: The slow pace of vaccination against Corona has increased the problems of the country. So far, more than 13 lakh people have been infected in the country. At the same time, 17,256 people have died due to corona. The number of active cases in the country is 87,377 and the number of people recovering from the virus is more than 12 lakh. So far, only 8,05,000 people have been vaccinated in Iraq. Its share in Iraq with a population of 40 million is only 2.5 percent. Cases of Delta variants are also increasing in Iraq.
(7.) Pakistan: Pakistan is at number seven in terms of COVID-19 cases in Asia and 9,61,085 people have been infected in the country. So far more than 23 thousand people have died. At present, the number of active cases in the country is 32,319 and more than 9 lakh people have recovered from Corona. So far 16 million people have been vaccinated in Pakistan. Pakistan has also asked its citizens to be ready for the fourth wave in view of the Delta variant. The first case of Delta variant was reported in Pakistan on 28 May.
