Ireland has included a total of five countries including India in this list. While Nepal has decided to close 22 out of 35 entry points.

Coronavirus cases are coming to record levels in India, due to which many countries have started imposing other restrictions including closing their borders. Ireland has also included India in the list of the country essentially being the Ireland Quarantine List. Now travelers coming from five countries, including India, will have to stay quarantined in the hotel from Tuesday. This announcement has been made by the Government of Ireland. Apart from India, passengers from Georgia, Iran, Mongolia and Costa Rica will have to remain isolated in Ireland from May 4.
In an official statement on Friday, it has been told, “If you travel to Ireland from specific countries, the hotel will necessarily have to be quarantined. It is mandatory to be booked before the trip. Passengers must pay in advance for their stay during the quarantine period (Ireland on Indian Travelers). According to the Health Department, traveling to Ireland without booking in advance would be a crime. This system will be applicable to any traveler, who must have been in these countries for the last 14 days. Also, this process will have to be implemented even if you pass through these countries.
Nepal government took this decision
Apart from this, the Government of Nepal has decided to close its 22 border entry points along India. According to officials, the COVID Crisis Management Coordination Committee (CCMC) on Friday recommended the Council of Ministers to close 22 of the 35 border centers between Nepal and India, after which the decision has been taken (Nepal Entry Points). Only 13 border centers will now operate between Nepal and India. This decision has been taken in view of the sharp increase in the cases of COVID-19 in the neighboring country of India.
More than four lakh cases registered
In India, more than four lakh cases of infection have been reported in a single day, while the total number of dead has increased to 2,11,853 after the death of 3,523 more patients. This information has been given in the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday. The total number of infected people has increased to 1,91,64,969 after 4,01,993 new cases of infection were reported in India, according to the updated data till eight o’clock on Saturday morning (Covid-19 Cases in India). The number of patients under treatment has increased to more than 32 lakhs. At the same time, 3,23,187 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nepal so far. While 3,279 patients have died.
