Many studies are going on around the world on the effect of corona vaccine. A study by Oxford University in Britain says that one dose each of the Oxford-AstraZeneca and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines can produce a very strong immunity against COVID-19. . In India, the AstraZeneca vaccine is known as Covishield.
A single dose of both vaccines is more effective!
In one study (not yet published), it has been said that after inoculation of mixed doses ie first Pfizer and then AstraZeneca vaccine and then in reverse order, it was found that it was found to reduce the risk of covid virus (SARS-CoV2). Antibodies against the spike protein were very high. These doses were given at an interval of four weeks. The spike protein helps the virus to infect and enter the human cell. The current vaccine works against this.

Second and third doses of AstraZeneca vaccine work despite delay
The study, which was posted on the Lancet pre-print server on June 25, published a possible schedule of the AstraZeneca (in India it is called Covishield) and Pfizer vaccines. This schedule can be used against COVID-19. Under this study, mix and match results of two vaccines were evaluated. In this it was seen how both the vaccines can be used interchangeably. There were 830 participants in this study. Of these, 463 were given the second dose of the vaccine at an interval of 28 days.
Earlier in an Oxford University study, it was found that despite the delay in the second and third doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, its ability to protect against the virus remains. The results of using the third dose as a booster dose have also been positive. However, it is not yet known whether a third dose will be needed to increase immunity or for immunity against different forms of the virus.
