Sajjad said that the cases of COVID-19 will increase again in the country. Daily corona cases in Pakistan have fallen below one thousand for the first time in six days. On Tuesday, 830 new cases of COVID were reported in the country.
Since July 1, more than one thousand people were getting corona infected every day in Pakistan. For the last time on June 30, 979 people were found infected with corona in the neighboring country. In the last 24 hours, 25 people died of coronavirus in Pakistan. So far, a total of 22,452 people have died since the epidemic started in the neighboring country. Even though the cases of corona are decreasing in Pakistan, but the pace of vaccination in the country is very slow. This is the reason why Pakistani health experts seem worried.
‘People closed following the corona rules, the situation may be like India’
Dr Sajjad said that citizens have stopped following the Coronavirus Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). He said, if precautions are not taken, then the fourth wave of coronavirus may come in late July or early August. He said, the situation of coronavirus in Pakistan is in danger of being similar to the situation in India. Dr Sajjad appealed to the citizens to follow the SOP and refrain from hugging and shaking hands on Eid. He said, people should be vaccinated without any delay.
Imran’s advisor appealed to the people to follow the rules
On the other hand, on Monday, Dr Faisal Sultan, Special Advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Health, said that there has been a slight but significant increase in the cases of coronavirus in the country. Dr Faisal tweeted and said, since last week the increase in corona cases, positivity rate and other parameters have definitely increased. Dr Faisal appealed to the Pakistani people to follow the SOP and avoid Corona. Apart from this, put on a mask, avoid going in the crowd and get the vaccination done. By following all these things, corona can be stopped from spreading.
