Dilip Kumar Death: Dilip Kumar breathed his last in Mumbai on Wednesday at the age of 98. Pakistani leaders have also expressed grief over his death.

Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar died on Wednesday at the age of 98. His fans from all over the world expressed grief as soon as he got the information of Kumar’s death. Leaders in the neighboring country of Pakistan also expressed grief over his death. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan also condoled the death of Dilip Kumar and said that he is saddened to hear the news of his demise. Let us tell you that Dilip Kumar was born in Peshawar, Pakistan. Even today his ancestral house exists in Peshawar.
Imran Khan tweeted and said, ‘Sad to hear the news of Dilip Kumar’s demise. I will never forget to give my time to help raise funds for the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust Hospital (SKMTH) project when it started. This was the most difficult time, when it was difficult to collect even 10 per cent of the funds. But his arrival in London and Pakistan helped to raise a huge amount. Also, Dilip Kumar was the greatest and most versatile actor of my generation.’ Many leaders of Pakistan expressed their grief by tweeting on the death of Dilip Kumar.

What Pakistani leaders said on the death of Dilip Kumar
PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif paid his tributes to Kumar. He tweeted and said, ‘Yusuf Khan of Peshawar ruled Bollywood as Dilip Kumar for many years and today left the world as a legend.’
Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said, ‘Whenever I met Dilip Kumar, I saw a charming personality in him.’
PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb said the characters played by Kumar and the dialogues spoken by him with such passion became very popular among the masses. He described his death as a great loss.
The family informed about the death
Dilip Kumar’s family members and the doctors treating him informed about his death on Wednesday. Family friend Faizal Farooqui wrote on the actor’s official Twitter account, “With a heavy heart and extremely sad, I am announcing that a few minutes ago our dear Dilip Sahab passed away. We are the servants of Allah and we have to go back to Him only. The actor was admitted to the hospital several times in the last one month. Dilip Kumar was born on 11 December 1922 in Peshawar, Pakistan. His name was Mohammad Yusuf Khan and he started his film career in 1944 with the film ‘Jwarbhata’.
