Mingma Tenji Sherpa, a 43-year-old mountain guide from Nepal, has climbed Mount Everest twice in the shortest time of a season to set a world record. This information was given by the organizers on Thursday. Sherpa, a resident of Shankhuwasabha district in eastern Nepal, first reached the summit of Everest on the evening of May 7 and then reached the world’s highest mountain for the second time in the morning of May 11.
Mingma Sherpa, president of ‘Seven Summit Treks’, who organized the mountaineering, gave this information. Mingma said that he reached the summit of Everest twice in just four days, which is a world record. Earlier, Indian mountaineer Anshu Jamsenpa made a record by climbing Mount Everest twice in 118 hours and 15 minutes in 2017.
China is preparing to draw the border on Everest
However, this record of a female climber is still in her name. On the other hand, news has come in the past that China will draw a border line on Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain peak so that the mountaineers coming from Nepal can be prevented from coming into their territory. China’s state media has attributed the corona virus epidemic to the move.
A group of Tibetan climbers will be formed for this task. The official dialogue agency, Xinhua, told that a line will be drawn from China before the mountains reach the peak. However, it is still unclear what will make this dividing line by China. Mountaineers climbing the peak from the Chinese side in the north will be prevented from crossing this dividing line so that they do not come in contact with any person or object or Nepali climbing from the south side.
The ban was imposed last year
The Nepal government or mountaineering officials have not immediately responded to this dividing line. Significantly, due to the corona virus epidemic last year, Nepal and China prohibited the climb of Mount Everest, but this year, to promote tourism, Nepal allowed 408 foreigners to conquer Mount Everest.
