Chinese Workers With AK 47 Rifle: A bus full of Chinese engineers was targeted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The blast in the bus killed 13 people, including 9 Chinese citizens. After this incident, it has become clear that Pakistan and China do not trust each other at all. Chinese employees working on projects in Pakistan have been seen carrying AK-47 rifles with them. These people working on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) are scared after the bus was blown up.
According to the India Today report, Pakistan has termed the incident as an explosion due to a technical fault, while China has called it a terrorist attack. The incident happened on July 14 (Pakistan China Bus Blast Incident). The government of Pakistan had assured China that it would conduct an investigation from every angle and find out the truth. But the Chinese government has sent its own team of experts to investigate. It is also clear that he has no faith in the investigation of the Government of Pakistan.
Pakistan repeatedly changed statement
The bus exploded when Chinese engineers were being brought here to work on the ongoing Chinese project in Dasu. China is very angry about this (Pakistan China Bus Blast Incident). At the same time, the statement has been changed time and again from Pakistan’s side. First Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the explosion occurred due to a technical fault in the bus. Then Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary said that in the preliminary investigation, evidence related to the terrorist attack has been found. After which China clearly told Pakistan that it wants strict protection of its citizens.
Similar incident happened in Balochistan too
Apart from this, China has demanded immediate arrest and strict punishment of the accused of the incident. Earlier in April, a suicide bombing took place at a luxury hotel hosting the Chinese ambassador to south-west Balochistan (Chinese in Pakistan). Four people died in this accident and dozens were injured. However, the ambassador was not hurt. The current situation in Afghanistan has also increased the concern of Pakistan. Where terrorist groups like Islamic State and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are getting furious against Pakistani security personnel.
