China has temporarily banned entry of Indians holding valid Chinese visas or residency permits, citing the Covid 19 epidemic. This announcement was made by the Chinese Embassy in India on Thursday. Last week, there were cases of coronavirus in flights to and from the Vande Bharat Mission.
According to the news agency ANI report, the official statement issued by the embassy said, “Due to Covid 19 it is announced that China has temporarily stopped the entry of Indian citizens holding valid Chinese visas or residence permits in China. . The Chinese embassy in India will not stamp the health declaration form of those with the mentioned visas or residency permits.
Their entry will not stop
It was further stated that foreigners with Chinese diplomatic, service, curtsey and C visas will not be affected by this ban i.e. they will be able to enter China. Foreigners going to China in humanitarian needs or emergency can submit visa application to Chinese Embassy in India. Entry in China of visas issued after 3 November will not be affected.
The embassy also says that China will periodically make further announcements based on the state of the epidemic. Explain that China removed the ban and on September 28, allowed all foreigners with valid residency permits to enter. In March, China banned the entry of foreigners in response to the epidemic.
