In the G7 Summit held in Britain, the human rights violations being done by China in Hong Kong and Xinjiang were discussed. ‘Dragon’ has got chill about this. China has warned the G7 leaders that the time has passed when a ‘small’ group of some countries used to decide the fate of the world. In this conference, the world’s seven largest democracies also made a strategy about how to deal with Beijing. China is also furious about this.
A spokesman for the Chinese embassy in London said, “The time for global decisions to be made by a small group of countries has long passed.” The Chinese spokesman said, ‘We have always believed that the country should be small or big, strong or weak, poor or rich and equal. The affairs of the world should be settled through dialogue with all the countries. The spokesman said that a handful of countries (China and G7) should not speak alone on global matters.
Cartoon mockery of G7 countries
Earlier, China tried to make fun of the leaders of the G7 country through cartoons. The Chinese government’s siren Global Times shared a picture. In the caption of this picture, Global Times wrote, ‘Through whom can the G-7 countries maintain their rule over the world? The depreciating US dollar, nuclear wastewater or from detaining Meng Wanzhou? A Chinese cartoonist has given his answer. Meng Wanzhou, the daughter and chief financial officer of the founder of China’s Huawei company, was detained by Canada on an extradition request from the US.
What did the G7 say about China?
In fact, a release issued by the G7 group said, “With respect to China and for competition, we will continue to consult on a collective approach to challenging anti-market policies and practices that undermine the fair and transparent system of the global economy.” The G7 leaders said they would ask China to respect human rights and fundamental freedoms in Xinjiang and the semi-autonomous city of Hong Kong. China is accused of violating the rights of minority Uighurs in Xinjiang. Because of this, China is furious.
