A British lady has died after getting caught in an avalanche within the French Alps.
The 45-year-old was mountain climbing with two different folks when the accident occurred on the Argentiere Glacier on Mont Blanc on Saturday.
French police mentioned a specialist excessive mountain search and rescue unit in Chamonix was notified of the incident by a information at about 5pm, and despatched rescue staff and a physician by way of helicopter.
