Some 40,000 rail staff will stroll out on Saturday 8 October for what would be the third day of rail strikes subsequent month.
The Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) mentioned that the strike will have an effect on its members at Network Rail and 15 practice operators.

But he added: “However, as no new supply has been tabled, our members don’t have any alternative however to proceed this strike motion.
“We will continue to negotiate in good faith, but the employers and government need to understand our industrial campaign will continue for as long as it takes.”
The information comes simply days after practice drivers at 12 operators vowed to stroll out on Saturday 1 October and Wednesday 5 October.
