Amazon will shut its UK-based retailer Book Depository later this month.
The on-line bookshop was based in Gloucester earlier than being acquired by the tech big in 2011.
In a message on its web site, Book Depository stated to clients: “We are sorry to let you know that Book Depository will be closing on 26 April 2023.
“You can nonetheless place orders till noon on 26 April and we are going to proceed to ship your purchases and supply help for any order points till 23 June.
“From all of us at Book Depository we need to say thanks.
“Delivering your favourite reads to you since 2007 has been a pleasure.”
