Public Health England (PHE) has reported that fully vaccinated people in England have also become victims of the delta variant.

Hundreds of fully vaccinated people in England have been found infected with the dangerous delta variant of the coronavirus. Scientists gave this information on Friday. In its latest COVID-19 update, Public Health England (PHE) also warned that there are indications that people who have been vaccinated may spread the delta variant as rapidly as the same people. Those who have not yet been vaccinated. It is worth noting that the Delta variant is spreading rapidly in different parts of Britain.

PHE said that from July 19 to August 2, out of 1467 people who were hospitalized with the delta variant, 55.1 percent of the patients had not received the vaccine. At the same time, 512 people or say 34.9 percent people had received both doses of the vaccine. Lockdown restrictions were eased in England on 19 July as ‘Freedom Day’. Vaccines from AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer-BioNtech are currently being used for the vaccination of people in Britain. Both doses of these vaccines are needed to be fully vaccinated. So far, 75 percent of the adult population of Britain has received both doses of the vaccine.

It is necessary to have both doses of the vaccine

Public Health England said that the larger the population is vaccinated, the higher the rate we will see vaccinated people being hospitalized. Jenny Harries, chief executive of the UK Health Protection Agency, said the hospitalization figures show how important it is that we all get both doses of the vaccine. He said, Vaccination is the best weapon to save yourself and your loved ones from COVID-19. However, we also have to remember that getting the vaccine does not eliminate all the risks. Even after this, there is a risk of getting sick.

Vaccines provide protection against delta variants

The PHE results match those of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which last week said that unlike other variants of the virus, this variant spread faster than those infected with Delta. The vaccine has been shown to provide protection against the delta variant, especially after taking both doses of the vaccine. But there is not much data yet about the transmission of the virus to other people of the vaccinated people. The delta variant has become the most spreading variant of coronavirus worldwide. This variant is behind 99 percent of the cases of COVID-19 in Britain.
