We sent delegation to give an ultimatum and show that we want peace. For this we are also ready to make sacrifices but Taliban has no desire for peace. So we should take a decision on this basis.
Afghan President prepared ‘Plan’
Ghani said Eid has been named to honor the sacrifice and courage of Afghan forces, especially in the last three months. He said that the security and defense forces of Afghanistan have made many sacrifices in the last 20 years, especially in the last three months, to protect the honor of this earth and this motherland.
According to Ashraf Ghani, he worked on ‘Urgent and Practice Plan’ last week to overcome the current situation. He said that Afghans should prove that they are united. The plan has been prepared and it has been divided into two parts in terms of security. In one part of this, priorities have been set for security and defense forces. He said that for the next three to six months, the situation will change due to the strong stand of the people.
5000 Taliban released
The Afghan president said national support and national defense were needed at this time and added that the future of Afghanistan would be built in Afghanistan and by the Afghans. He said that today’s Afghanistan is not what it was 20 years ago. There are signs of development in every city. There is no place for militia and arbitrariness in this country. He said the Taliban had destroyed 260 public buildings. The government has released 5,000 Taliban prisoners, but the group has not yet prepared for meaningful talks.
