Afghanistan has been a battleground for the last few months. Since the beginning of the withdrawal of American troops, the Taliban have been continuously attacking areas in Afghanistan. The Taliban has gradually started moving towards the provincial capitals. On the other hand, 95 percent of US and NATO troops have gone back and the remaining soldiers are expected to return from Afghanistan by August 31.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Monday blamed the hasty withdrawal of US and NATO troops for the deteriorating security situation in the country. Addressing parliament, Ghani said, “The peace process talks with the Taliban have not yielded any benefits, but have created a state of suspicion and suspicion among the people of Afghanistan. Taliban does not believe in peace. In the next six months there will be unprecedented changes and the Taliban will be pushed back.”
