Actor Jonathan Majors was arrested on Saturday in New York on expenses of strangulation, assault and harassment.
The star of Creed III and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania was taken into custody after being concerned in a “domestic dispute” with a 30-year-old lady, police stated.
The lady had minor accidents to her head and neck and was taken to hospital, a spokesperson for the New York Police Department (NYPD) stated in a press release.
“The victim informed police she was assaulted,” they stated.
“Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident.”
Police had been known as to a Manhattan condo about 11am on Saturday.
Majors was now not in police custody as of Saturday evening, the NYPD spokesperson confirmed to The Associated Press.
