Xiaomi Hypercharge
There are many smartphones offering fast charging in the market, while tech companies are constantly offering something new regarding this technology. Meanwhile, Xiaomi has introduced 200W HyperCharge fast charging technology which claims to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in less than 8 minutes.
In addition, the company has introduced 120W wireless fast charging technology which claims to fully charge a smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery capacity within 15 minutes. The 200W Hypercharge Fast Charging technology came after the company introduced 120W Fast Charging with Mi 10 Ultra and 80W Wireless Fast Charging Technology last year. This makes Xiaomi the first OEM to offer 200W fast charging, the highest ever for a smartphone.
The Chinese tech giant took to Twitter to announce 200W hypercharged fast charging and 120W wireless fast charging technology. Xiaomi posted a video showing how fast a smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery charges with new wired and wireless technology. The video shows that the phone takes just 44 seconds to charge up to 10 percent, just 3 minutes to charge it up to 50 percent and that the phone is fully charged in less than 8 minutes with wired fast charging technology. In the wired charging space, Oppo currently has 125W Flash Charge which claims to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in 20 minutes. Realme’s 125W UltraDART also offers the same charging speed. As mentioned, Xiaomi also showcased its 120W wireless fast charging technology in the video. The company uses the Mi 11 Pro custom built smartphone to test both its wired and wireless fast charging technology. The video shows that the Mi 11 Pro charges 10 percent in less than a minute by charging a 4,000mAh battery, 50 percent in 7 minutes and fully charged in 15 minutes.
Xiaomi has announced these two wired and wireless technologies, but it has not told when they will be installed in market-ready products and which phones will receive them first. However, its integration can be expected in the upcoming flagship models.
