What are the hardware requirements for Windows 11
“We have concluded that a compatible 64-bit processor selected, 4GB of memory, 64GB of storage, UEFI secured boot, graphics requirements and TPM 2.0 are the right minimum system requirements, which we’ve set up as the install principles for your best support,” Microsoft said in a statement. Delivered on. We have identified a set of personal computer models that meet the principles that we did not originally include in our minimum system requirements when running on Intel 7th Generation processors.
Microsoft announced its Windows 11 minimum hardware requirements in June and clarified that only Intel 8th Generation and beyond CPUs were officially supported. However, now the company said that this install workaround was primarily designed to evaluate Windows 11 for business.
In addition, Microsoft is updating the Personal Computer Health Check app. The new app will provide more details about whether it disables the system for upgrades, including only enabling TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot.
