Announcing the new tariff rates, Vi said it will improve the ARPU (User on Average Revenue) process and bring relief to the financially stressed industry. The price of Vodafone Idea’s most premium recharge pack of Rs 2,399 will increase to Rs 2,899 from November 25. In this plan, customers get daily 1.5 GB data, daily 100 SMS facility and unlimited calling free for up to 365 days. The company has increased the price of the plan by Rs 500.
Similarly, the prices of many other Vi plans have also increased. It also includes a recharge plan of Rs 1,499, which will now increase to Rs 1,799. In this plan, customers get 24 GB data, 2,600 SMS, unlimited calling and validity of up to 365 days. The price of Rs 699 will increase to Rs 839 and now you will have to pay Rs 719 for the prepaid plan of Rs 599. In the earlier plan, customers used to get daily 2 GB data, daily 100 SMS facility and unlimited calling free for up to 84 days. Whereas in the pack of Rs 599, instead of 2 GB, 1.5 GB data is available daily. Rest of the benefits are same as the pack of 699. The price of Rs 379 will now be Rs 459, in which customers get 6 GB data, daily 1000 SMS facility and unlimited calling with a validity of up to 84 days.
At the same time, the company’s 56-day validity plans of Rs 449 and Rs 399 will now cost Rs 539 and Rs 479 respectively. The earlier plan offers 2 GB data daily with all the above benefits, while the Rs 399 pack offers 1.5 GB data daily. Talking about the 28-day validity plan, after the price hike of Rs 149, Rs 219, Rs 249 and Rs 299, the plans will be Rs 179, Rs 269, Rs 299 and Rs 359 respectively.
Now you will get the Vi Voice tariff plan of Rs 79 for Rs 99. In this, talk time of Rs 99, 200MB data and validity of 28 days is available. After the price hike in data top-ups, the plans priced at Rs 48, Rs 98, Rs 251 and Rs 351 will be Rs 58, Rs 118, Rs 298 and Rs 418 respectively.
