Uber driver Srikanth can no longer drive a cab. Yes, a picture of the driver is becoming very viral on social media. The Uber driver has been fired from the job because the Uber app AI could not recognize his face. All this happened when Srikanth got his haircut and then sat back in the taxi. He cut his hair extremely short, after which the taxi app refused to recognize him.
Srikanth is an Uber driver and he has to send some selfies before starting the trip. Everything feeds into the app. Uber AI then recognizes this and then gives the driver permission to drive a taxi. But all this changed for Srikanth when the app did not recognize him with his selfie as he donated his hair to Tirupati Balaji.
Srikanth, who has been driving with @Uber_India for over 1.5 years now and holds a 4.67 star rating for the 1428 trips he completed, has been blocked by Uber. Srikanth shaved his head during a recent trip to Tirupati, and when he returned, 1/3 pic.twitter.com/QwNnBwscPy

Uber refused to recognize him after his hair was cut short and bearded. He tried again many times after this, after which the company fired him from his job. Srikanth said that he took a selfie from different angles but still the app did not recognize him, after which he was finally fired after a lot of failed attempts.
However, the company has said in its reply that nothing like this has happened and whatever the driver is saying is completely untrue. The company says that Uber has removed it because it was repeatedly breaking the guidelines.
Shaik Salauddin, general secretary of the Indian Federation of App-based Transport Workers, shared Srikanth’s objection on social media. In a press conference issued by the Telangana Four Wheeler Drivers Association, Salauddin said that there is a need to create systems that do not remove their employees for their technical flaws but try to correct the flaws.
