Micro-blogging site Twitter will no longer automatically refresh the timeline on the web with new Tweets, and users can now decide when they want to load new Tweets. Twitter acknowledged that in the past, tweets often disappeared mid-read when a user’s timeline was automatically refreshed.
According to the report of TechCrunch, users can now load new tweets whenever they want by clicking on the tweet counter bar at the top of their deadline. In September, the company noted that it would release updates to the way tweets show up so they don’t disappear when users are reading them. Twitter’s iOS and Android apps also don’t refresh users’ timelines when they open the app. Instead, users can click the highlighted home button on the navigation bar to load new tweets.

Twitter won’t crop a single image on the web app
Twitter also recently announced that after introducing full-size image previews on mobile earlier this year, it will no longer automatically crop image previews on the web. These changes come as Twitter works to enhance its platform and improve its service.
Twitter in May removed its automatic image cropping for large image previews on Android as well as iOS, and now the company has finally come up with the same solution for its web app. With the new update, users will no longer have to click on an image to see the full picture. It seems that this feature is now available to everyone.
